Peanut Butter Perfection

Despite my allergies- which were pretty bad yesterday- we headed downtown Holland and sat outside (after getting ice cream!) I'm almost sure I feel worse at home with our lawn of weeds out back. Anyway, the kids played and enjoyed themselves while we enjoyed eating ALL of our rich, fattening, Coldstone ice cream!

We also had Taylor for the night and Mayci loves to be around her- which makes me wonder if Mayci- too- would be a wonderful big sister???? Scratch!!! Back to reality.. two girls is plen-ty.

Ellery didn't want us to take a picture of her beautiful blue eyes so I snuck one of her and got this... isn't she cute ?

Mayci had her first 'real' cone last night... she usually either has only a plain cone or ice cream in a bowl- but we were feeling brave I guess and let her make a mess with both. She was so excited that she really wasn't even eating much of it! Just carrying it around with a big smile!

Our holiday weekend is falling into place- Ryan is gone today to a U of M game so I'll be trying to keep the girls busy.. nothing new! Tomorrow we are off to a cottage for the day, and Monday I work. I can hardly believe it's the unofficial end of summer weekend already, but I am ready for a change of pace!

...Madison Lyn- all 6 pounds 7 ounces of her- came kicking and crying into this world. Never will that feeling of holding your first child- for the first time- ever leave me.

I feel so blessed to have been given the gift of her life for 8 years now. Happy brithday sweet girl! We love you.

Butterfinger.

I now believe my kids have Turkey Lunchables way too often...

You'd think she would get sick of having the same thing- but she truly looks forward to her Butterfinger on the daily!

Camping 2008

The girls and I stayed a few days at Yogi Bear in Grand Haven. My Mom had planned a week out there and invited everyone to come out at their own convenience... so knowing me, I jumped all over the idea! Ryan continued to work since it was during the week.
Our lot felt like it was out in the sticks, so I got lazy and rented a golf cart. It was $75 for 24 hours!! I still can not believe I paid that but it was worth it at the time!
